    Can't turn off pointing stick mouse thingy between G, B, and H.


    Hi. I've run into a little problem with my dell laptop. The pointing stick specifically. The pointing stick the mouse thingy between G, B, and H, moves by itself. I would turn it off but when I go to my touchpad settings to deactivate it, the following error pops up. I've tried redownloading windows, download old drivers from dell's site, EVERYTHING. But nothing is working. Please help because I am at my wit's end.

    Store Settings "Update apps automatically" won`t stay switched off. WHY?

    Hi H. G.,

    The possible reason why Update apps automatically turn back on is that the Store app is running in the background. We suggest that you turn off the Store app. This way, it won't receive any updates or send notifications unless opened or turned on
    manually.

    To turn off Store app, follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo, then go to Settings.
    • Click Privacy, then Background apps.
    • On the list, locate Store and toggle it off.

    Sticking mouse

    Hi Michael,

    It's really odd that even using another wireless mouse, the pointer issue that you're experiencing are still occurring. It could be a compatibility, or driver issue. A changes (updates, software installation) might have triggered the issue as well. However,
    since you've already tried to roll back you mouse's driver to no avail, here are the steps on how to reinstall a driver:

    • Go to Device Manager, then look for Mice and other pointing devices and expand it.
    • Once done, right click on the mouse driver, then hit Properties.
    • Go to Driver tab, then click on update Driver, and follow the
      steps below Uninstall and Reinstall drivers.
    • Restart your computer once done.

    Let's hope that uninstalling and reinstalling the driver would fix the issue.

    g and h keys not working
    whenever I type g and h keys they don't work until the 10th time i press them.
    I am using a brand new surface laptop 5.
