Windows 10: Can't turn off Proxy Settings

I am running Windows 10 Home Edition. My ISP provider has suggested I turn off Proxy Server Settings. I have done that, but they always turn themselves back on without my knowledge. There is no place to save the settings, even when set manually. Is there some where to turn off my proxy server and have them stay off?

enable proxy setting page on the settings of Windows 10

Please I have a problem, it's that in the network & internet page off the setting the page of proxy is disable and I can't make any proxy setup, how can I enable this page for turn off the use of proxy serve

Is the Proxy box checked?

You need to turn off the ATT proxy so that IE is not trying to contact the proxy (only available when using the cellular connection) for IE to work over WiFi. Note that when the proxy is off, you can't get to the ATT sites such as device.home, cellular
video, etc.

Go to Start | Settings | Connections tab. Turn ON the checkbox for "Do not use a proxy server (this setting will apply to Internet Explorer only.)"

If you havent set a proxy there are 2 reason why you have it set either you have malware/virus or you are running a anti virus which is using it to scan all traffic this would also block you changing it. What is the proxy set to 127.0.0.1?

Please download Adware cleaner from the link below.
Malwarebytes | AdwCleaner
Save it to your desktop.
Right click run as admin.
Hit the scan button.
Allow completion.
Make sure all items are ticked.
Hit the clean button.
Even if no items are displayed to be ticked hit the clean button anyway.
The machine will reboot this is normal.
Post the log in your next reply.

 

Thank You for the reply Samuria. When my Proxy Server is on it is 127.0.0.1, like you said.
Not sure I did it right, but have tried to attach results of the Adw scan.. If it doesn't come through let me know and i'll try again...
