    Can't turn on my anti-virus program in Windows Security


    I want to override Windows Defender and all Windows Security actions by using the anti-virus software I pay for Webroot and because Windows Defender regularly uses 90% of my CPU in task manager it took me 3x as long as necessary to type this as the computer is maxed out because of it!


    When I go to Service Providers within Windows Security, Webroot is listed and turned off. When I click "turn on" nothing happens. "Open app" works fine and "turn on" seems to click, just nothing changes or happens. I'm up to date on all systems and programs.


    Please help! I'm sick of Windows Security overriding MY preferred settings! I would really prefer to just completely uninstall Windows Security, but of course can't, so need a way to permanently turn it off! It's really messing with my computer's functioning.

    I need to istall Window 10 anti virus and marvate

    Windows 10 comes with in-built Anti-Virus program Windows Defender.

    It depends on your own preferences if you would want to use another Anti-Virus program.
