Windows 10: Cant turn on "Show most used apps" on Windows 11

Hello,It seems that I cant activate "Show most used apps" on windows 11. The option is completely greyd out. Not sure how to go about enabling it. Any help will be appreciated.Thx

  Type notification on the search bar and click on
  notification & action settings.

  And click on select which icons appear on the taskbar.

  Turn on show app notification separately for each app.

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

How to enable "Show most used apps"?

Hello Douglas,

Most used from the Start menu and the Run history can be enabled through Settings. To turn them on, the following are the steps:

• Click on Start.
• Go to Settings.
• Select Personalization.
• From the Start tab, turn Show most used apps on.
• Turn Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar on.
