    Can't turn on virus protection settings and remove a trojan.


    My computer has recently been attacked by a trojan virus. This virus turned off my Windows Defender Virus Protection Settings. I installed malwarebytes and it removed most of the malware but whenever I turn on my internet a notification keeps popping up about a trojan.

    Cannot turn on Virus protection

    I did install some, but I have uninstalled them all.
    In case you haven't already used the respective removal tools (List of anti-malware product removal
    tools     ) of those former Anti-Virus products, make sure to do so now and reboot....

    Oh I have done it. My Virus protection was turned on, then a few minutes later, it was turned off again.
