Re-reading your post, looks like you're needing this:

    ≤ (ALT + 243)

Alt + number symbols no longer working

    Hello there,

Would anyone happen to know how to fix my "alt+number" symbols no longer working? I'm talking about those little hearts and arrow symbols that you'd usually get by pressing left alt + any number(s) on your numpad. I checked that my numpad is on, and I have tried all the solutions listed here or here but none of them work (Mouse keys, and EnableHexNumpad, and check the Accessibility settings, etc.).

My Windows 10 is up to date, and the symbols still worked about a week ago so I really don't understand what's happening here. Even the most basic symbols like alt+1 that's a smiley doesn't work anymore, and I need to often use alt+16 to use the arrow, but it doesn't work either. Can't type Alt+029 symbol :(

When I type the symbols on Word, all I get are little boxes with a question mark (?) in them, or a blank square depending on the font. Except for alt+8, which works like the delete button for some reason, while alt+9 gives spaces of different lengths. When I try on Google Chrome, nothing happens.

I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad laptop, and the numbers pad is the PC's, same as I've always been using. Also my computer has always been set on French. I really didn't change anything, everything else works as usual except for the alt symbols, they simply suddenly stopped working and I have no idea what caused that! Please help. Can't type Alt+029 symbol :(

    Thank you.
