Windows 10: Can't type in body of new Mail or in reply to Mail

I have have a new Desktop NUC, running on O/S Win11, using Bigpond Account as my mail server in Australia.I am unable to reply to a inbox mail, or type in the main body of a new message, but my cursor works. I can type TO: and the Subject:Cookies and history have been deleted. Was using my Laptop with Win 10, but after and update it too is having the same problems. Thank you, I am a 7o year old disability Pensioner, not dumb, but no over the top lingo advice please.

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run App troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type ‘Troubleshooting’ in the search next to start.
• Click on ‘View All’ on left side and select ‘Windows store Apps’.
• Follow the onscreen instructions.

Method 2: I suggest you to follow below steps to run the power shell command for mail app issues.

• Open an Elevated Powershell prompt by pressing the Windows Key, typing Powershell, then pressing
  “Ctrl+Shift+Enter”.
• Paste the following command into Powershell and execute it:

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
