    Can't type in windows apps(MS store etc.) or search bar


    After i updated my windows to version 1909 my search bar an typing ability in various MS apps doesn't work anymore, this is an important feature for me and no fix i've tried so far has taken me anywhere

    Solutions i have tried and didn't work

    1. Uninstalling the updates
    2. PowerShell & Command Prompt solutions
    3. Search and indexing troubleshooting
    4. Un-installations of updates in advanced boot.

    Please tell me someone knows how to fix <3

    Windows Store not updating existing apps but successfully downloads new apps

    Hi,

    In order to diagnose the issue, we suggest that you try the following methods:

    Method 1: Kindly run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.
    To run it, follow the steps below:

    • Click Start.
    • On the search bar, type Troubleshooting, and click on
      Troubleshooting       from the results.
    • On the left pane, click View all.
    • Click Windows Store Apps.

    Method 2: We suggest that you manually reset the Windows Store app cache
    and then try to update apps again. To manually reset, follow the steps below:

    • Click Start.
    • On the search bar, type CMD, and right-click CMD
      from the results.
    • Click Run as administrator.
    • Type wsreset, and press Enter.

    Let us know how it goes for us to assist you further.

    Can't Type In Search Bar and Windows 10 Built-in Apps.

    Hello,
    I've been having this issue for quite a while, even before the last major update.
    Seems like I can't find a way to correct it.
    If I bring up the search bar, by right-clicking on the Windows Logo Icon within the taskbar.
    Then select search.
    I'm unable to type anything into the search box.

    However, I can type into notepad, copy that text and past it into the search bar.
    This also works for other Windows 10 built-in apps, for which typing text is required.
    The keyboard I'm using is the Logitech G413, which is only a few months old.
    I've also moved the USB cables to a different port, without any effect.
    I've also tried a secondary keyboard, the Cooler Master NovaTouch TKL and this keyboard also shows the same behavior. No matter which USB port it's connected to.
    I've also tried using the on-screen keyboard, and this also will not type into the search bar, or Windows 10 built-in apps.Any suggestions?
