Windows 10: Can't Uninstall Iolo System Mechanic Ultimate Defense

I am not sure where to ask this question.


I have Iolo System Mechanic Ultimate Defense on a computer running Windows 10. It does not show up in the list of installed programs via "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel. I tried using cmd prompt WMIC to force the uninstall but it is not listed there when using the command "product get name"


I contacted Iolo support but they wanted me to allow a remote connection and leave the remote connection active for 10-24 hours so a tech could "take care of it when they were free." I am NOT leaving my computer to sit with a remote connection established for 10-24 hours and to me, that seems like a poor tech support business practice.


I tried using a couple of 3rd party uninstaller programs that I saw suggested in a couple of other posts where people were having the same issue I am with System Mechanic not showing up in Control Panel but those programs did not list System Mechanic as an installed program either. It is as if it is hiding from the OS so it can't be uninstalled.


Does anyone have any tricks up their sleeve to help me get this program off my computer?

Can't install System Mechanic Ultimate Defense

I have had this program on my computers since 2012. My System Mechanic Pro was working just fine.

I decided to upgrade to System Mechanic Ultimate Defense. I cannot get it to install.

What is the problem?? What do I need to do to fix this??

I want System Mechanic Ultimate Defense. It does many things to keep my computer running. I have used this program since 2012.

There must be a better answer than you have given ??????

Can you clarify WHY it is not usagale on Windows 10.
