Windows 10: Can't uninstall KB4517389

KB4517389 has been giving me some trouble with bluescreens. Instead of using system restore point I tried to fix it and it isn't really going great. My computer hasn't frozen recently but I still can't uninstall the update.

Uninstall update - An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled.

I am one step ahead of you I was already in the process, will let you know if it works.

 

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

Fingerprint sensor not recognized after KB4517389 update

After the update KB4517389, the fingerprint sensor (Synaptic) on my Lenovo E531 was no longer working. It didn't show up in the device manager. I uninstalled KB4517389 and the the fingerprint sensor works fine now.
