    Can't uninstall update


    Hello everyone, I have a question about a windows update. I've noticed on the community that the latest update patch was released on the 12th of May. I had these updates on the 16th, and I can't uninstall one of them. Can someone give me some information on what this update entails, and why I can't uninstall it?Thanks in advance.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused Can't uninstall update :confused:

    Jame won't recgonize itself as being uninstalled and now it won't reinstall

    ok peeps, I uninstalled J2SE Runtime Enviornment 5.0 Update 6 then tried to install a newer version did'nt work... I tried removing java from registry and from uninstall list but my system still insists that it's there any help?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
