  1. Can't update, even though I have TPM 2.0

I've been trying to update to Windows 11 with no luck. PC Health Check says "TPM 2.0 Enabled on this PC". The UEFI Bios says TPM20 Device Found and Secure Boot State Enabled. However the PC Health Check says that Secure Boot isn't enabled. Browsing the Registry shows an entry for TPM as "unsupported".I have an ASRock Fatality UEFI Z270 Gaming K6 P2.10 motherboard with a Core I7-7700K water cooled at 4.9GHz with 32Gb PC-3600 memory and SSD hard drives. The system is 5 years old.PC Health Check also says the processor isn't supported. Why??? Not enough performance? Not likely. Z270 core logic do

  2. TPM update

Don't know if this is the right place for this thread but whatever, laptop informed me that " a firmware update is needed for you security processor (TPM)," now, i looked up what to do and from a microsoft support thing, the last step says to clear the tpm. it has a warning saying to back up my data, i would like to know what clearing the tpm does, and what measures i need to take to make sure nothing goes wrong.

The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:
    • New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
    • CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
    • Package change to Halide free package
Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.
