Windows 10: Can't update from Win 10 version 1803

My computer stops at 85% when attempting to update to version 19003 and now ver. 1909. The rotating wheel either disappears or is stopped and there is no indication of any hard drive/SSD function. I've tried 5 times now and wasted a lot time trying to update. It doesn't mater how long the computer sits, there is no progress. I've run the update diagnostic tool a few times and that is up no help. I don't have a third party anti virus program, though I have Malwarebytes, which I disabled and that didn't make a difference. I know other people are have this same issue, but I've found no info on how to resolve it.


I have not had problems with previous updates. This is a fresh install that I did last year when I change from from a smaller SSD to a larger one. My first install was Win 8 pro 64 bit with an updated to Win 10 pro 64 bit when it was released. This install was made from a USB flash drive and boots from a UEFI bios on an Asrock motherboard with AMD processor. Don't know if a UFEI bios boot makes any difference.

Unable to update Windows 10 Pro version 1709 to 1803

Have made several attempts to update Windows 10 version 1709 to the latest version 1803 and have not been successful.

I've done the following per some suggestions found online:

• Updated drivers
• Ran the Trouble Shooter for Windows 10 (Errors found were shown to be "Fixed" per the tool)
• Unplugged the printer

Although not at every attempt, I have received the following errors:

• 0xc1900101
• 0x80070643

Can someone please advise me as to what the errors are and provide me with the steps to update Windows.

Win 10 1803 to 1903 update

My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1903 a while back, but my Desktop running Win 10 version 1803

I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1903 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

Any thoughts, suggestions?

 

Following Win 10 Update (1803): Unable to print (Printer offline message).

Printer Samsung ML2950 Series.

I have followed all the suggestions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027397/windows-10-fix-printer-problems

None of them fix the problem.

The printer is working fine. Another WIN 10 computer on the network is able to print to the printer without issue.

Latest updates:

• WIN 10 1803

and

• Security Update for Adobe Flash for Win 10 1803 KB4338832

I uninstalled KB4338832 and the problem persists, so I presume that the problem is with the 1803 update (as that took around 2 hours to install, I'm reluctant to uninstall it to test it).
