I'm going through a lot of stress trying to solve this problem, I have two handhelds OneXFly - like Rog Ally with Windows 11 Home, I'm having difficulty installing application updates from the MS Store XBOX. I formatted it to try to solve the problem clean install, but it continues to fail. I'm having the following errors: - KB4023057 gets stuck at 0% - I can't install other languages - I can't update any apps from the MS Store The update problem started last month. What have I tried to do? - KB4023057 also does not install manually, gives an error in the sedsvc service abse

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

And, sort of the same here --> Add a language or keyboard

Quote from above MS web page:

Spoiler Download and install language packs
You'll need to download the language pack if you want to make a language your Windows display language (that's the language you see most often in Windows and apps).
    • Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)
    • Tap or click Time and language, and then tap or click Region and language.
    • Tap or click a language that says Language pack available underneath, and then tap or click Options.
    • Tap or click Download. The download process might take a while, depending on your PC and the size of the language pack.
If you want to make this your display language, see the next section "Change your Windows display language".
    Change your Windows display language
To change your Windows display language (that's the language you see most often in Windows and apps), first add a language, download and install the language pack, and then follow these steps.
    • Tap or click the language that you want to set as your display language.
    • Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.
    • Sign out and then sign back in to finish.
And here is some more info --> Add Language Packs to Windows

    No Language Packs

The language packs in the Store are for 1803 only. This is mentioned in the system requirements on the Store page (Windows build 17074 or higher).

1709 must use the Settings app's Time & Language category. Add a language to the list, then click "Options" for that language and wait to see a download button for that language. It can take several minutes to search Windows Update for the pack. I also leave
the Settings app open when downloading a language pack so I can see its progress.

Once it's done, there's a tool in Windows called lpksetup that can show you what language packs are installed. Right-click the Start button and choose Run. Type
lpksetup and press Enter. In the tool, click "Uninstall language packs" and you'll be presented with a list of installed language packs.

There is one major thing that can block the Settings app from finding language packs. If your computer is a work computer connected to a WSUS server for updates, your admin must add the language packs to the WSUS for your computer to download them. If your
admin has not added them to the WSUS server, then you have to find and manually install a language pack using lpksetup. Microsoft has an ISO with all the language packs available for admins on their various sites, but I don't see this kind of download for
end users. This is likely why they were added to the Store for 1803.

Windows 10 Language pack download is stuck.

    Hi,

Your concern about downloading the Japanese language pack can be due to software conflicts on your device. To better understand your concern, we'd like to know the following:

    • If you're getting any error messages when downloading the specified language pack.
    • The version and build of Windows 10 that you're using on your device. To check this, you can perform the steps posted on this

      link
      .

In the meantime, we'd recommend performing the
    steps
posted by Sudharshan M K to fix your concern.

We look forward to your response.
