Windows 10: Can't update my Bluetooth driver to the latest Version

I have been having issues with my wireless headset/earbuds occasionally breaking up while in Bluetooth mode, and I think it may have to do with an outdated driver. After I download and run the installer exe. file for the new version of the driver I am trying to update, I am presented with a screen showing me three options: Modify, Repair, and Remove. When I choose Repair, everything seems to go fine. But upon restarting the computer, the current version of the driver I am trying to update is still visible, and I don't know what I am doing wrong. Let me help you to fix the issue.

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps. I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Bluetooth driver and check.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Bluetooth.
  
• 
  Click on the Bluetooth to expand, right click on the
  device and click on Properties.
  
• 
  Now click on Driver tab and click on
  uninstall button.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver restart the computer. It should automatically install the
  Bluetooth generic driver.
  

If the issue still persist, try the below method.

Method 2.

I would recommend you to update the Bluetooth driver and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Bluetooth.
  
• 
  Click on the Bluetooth to expand, right click on the
  device and click on update.
  

If the above method did not help to fix the issue, I would suggest you to go to the computer manufacturer website and download the latest updated Bluetooth driver and install the same.

A lot of times the driver will automatically update via Windows Update.

If your Bluetooth device is on the supported product list and you don't have the latest driver version installed yet, then you could download and run the .exe file from Intel in the first post in this thread to install the driver.
