Windows 10: Can't update my Windows 10 to version 2004

I have Windows 10 version 1909 and it seems that my PC blue screens quite frequently now. Average 1-2 a week. But recently it blue screened then after the automatic restart blue screened again and again and again. 4 blue screens before I even touched a button. This concerned me enough to look for a updated version of Windows to try that out.


Version 2004 is out there and I have 1909 currently. But I do not see it when I open my Windows Update settings Settings >Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates. The update does not appear... and thus I cannot selectDownload and install.


I see in a release bulletin that:

Is there anyway I can see what is holding up my finding of version 2004?

Yep. Tried to update my Realtek sound driver to the lastest version. After that I can't even use the Realtek sound control panel any more. It is now blocked. Seems M$ is determined to force users to swallow their automated driver update system.
