Windows 10: can't update to 2009

I have problems while trying to upgrade my computer from 2004 version to 20h2 updae ■At 27-5 when 2004 Update was released it was shown immediately on my pc i tried to update to it from 1909 version and everytime i tried to update it would reach 60% then returns to 57% and then restart and displays a black screen then a statement of "undoing chances made to your computer" appears and it rolls back to a previous version ..

so at the first attempt it failed and then the second attempt to update also failed and also the third one failed and also the 4th one!! I was very angry when that kept happening then i tried some methods by using sfc/scannow (didn't find any corrupted files btw) and DISM clean+check health commands on cmd and running disk clean up and then pressing clean system files and clearing windows installation folder cache file and when i tried to update (5th attempt) it worked finally however after it had updated one of the accounts (users) that are on my pc got corrupted (can't set apps to default apps) and then the whole user got corrupted i think the reason was related to Ntuser.dat file was corrupted and then from another user i copied all Data from C:/users folder and copied it to Local Disk D and deleted account data from Windows Settings and re made it

.. it was truly a disappointment trying to update.. I remember there was only 10-20gb available on Local disk c where the os is installed on 7200rpm HDD.. That what happened when i tried to update to 2004 version

so before more than 15 days 20h2 was released to public users.. and it wasn't shown on WU update in settings so yesterday i tried to update from 2004 version to 20h2 version (12 gb free space only) via Media creation tool and the same problem happened for the 5th time!! it would say undoing changes to your computer.. so i tried to delete software Distribution folder (there were 2 folders one ends .old so i deleted that) and stopped windows update and bits services via cmd then i re enabled them and made windows update service disabled in services via run command (w key+r) and deleted windows installation folder cache from disk clean up and tried second attempt to update to 20h2 and it didn't work it would display the same message......CAN ANYONE help me to fix this problem

Intel Readies P55 Chipset B3 Stepping Update

Intel's is readying a hardware update for its P55 Express chipset, currently the only core-logic for the company's brand new socket LGA-1156 processor platform. The new B3 stepping of the P55 PCH will bring with it a little more than new MM number and S-spec numbers. A list of changes is as follows:

• New MM number and S-spec numbers for the converted products;
• Firmware and minor BIOS updates are required with the conversion;
• Processor MRC/microcode update required to enable future processors;
• Recommended storage driver upgrade from Intel MSM 8.9 to Intel RST 9.5.

Although it is listed that the MRC update enables 'future processors', Intel, in a statement issued to X-bit labs assured that the current B2 stepping of the chipset (found on current socket LGA-1156 motherboards) does not leave out support for any of Intel's new LGA-1156 processors that are slated for release in the very near future. The dual-core "Clarkale" 32 nm processor will be supported by both B2 and B3 steppings of the chipset.

P55 B3 stepping is pin-identical to P55 B2, and hence motherboard vendors will not have to come up with new designs. Sampling of the new stepping began as early as on October 02, 2009, and it is scheduled for shipment to manufacturers by the 7th of December, 2009. P55 is the performance core-logic for the LGA-1156 platform. It supports Core i5 and Core i7 "Lynnfield" processors with discrete graphics.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
