    Can't update to October Update version 20h2 and constant crashes


    I recently had some crashing issues so I decided to try to update Windows, I found that my pc had the new update available but could not update to it, any time it failed it would say "Updates Failed" Another thing that happened was my graphics driver needed to update, and would not update either

    Fast Forward a few days, and I am still having issues trying to update. I am also having at least 3 BSOD's a day, and I decided I had enough and ran memtest, no issues, then ran system file checker (sfc /scannow) and got stuck in a boot loop that forced me into safe mode, and booted from a restore point about 5 days back.

    After that, Discord had issues where the app could not be opened by double clicking the icon, clicking on it in the taskbar, or opening it by searching for it. I also could not open my graphics software, so I reinstalled both and they finally worked.

    Now, my computer still will not update to 20h2 and gave me the error code 0xc1900101 and in update history it shows this, In addition to this, whenever I check for updates, I am up to date, but there is no evidence that my computer actually updated to 20h2:

    The list of error codes I got in order are:

    • 0xc1900101
    • 0x8007065e
    • 0x8024000b
    • 0xc1900101 (again)
    • 0xc19001e1
    • 0xc1900101 (again)

    A couple times I will be booting up a game, and it will crash even while I am not doing anything, another time I had my graphics software crash randomly just saying it crashed, without anything happening, and it worked just fine afterwards.

    As you can see, I have had some difficulty updating, and would love an answer as to what is wrong, or anything that I can do to solve this. I am willing to just reinstall windows fresh if this fixes the issues.
