Windows 10: Can't update to the latest windows 10 update.

Everytime I have tried to update my windows 10, it doesn't work, I'll go to sleep while it's updating and it'll be stuck at a random number. I've tried everything in this guide: https://www.partitionwizard.com/resizepartition/feature-update-to-win10-version-20h2-not-installing.htmlAnd nothing works, on top of this I'm having a problem with game services on xbox, but I think this just has to do with my windows not being updated.

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
