Windows 10: Can't update to version 1903

Around about maybe 3 months ago, I first got the update for version 1903 and that's when all this stress and panic started. For some reason, my computer didn't want to update; I don't remember much from the earlier times it tried to update but here's what my update history looks like. One time the update just got completely stuck even when I left it going overnight which I think might be the 0x90240034 error code but the other ones have all been the same. The update usually starts out fine. It does it's think but then around maybe 30% (I think it got to around 80% one time), my computer just blue screens and iirc, it says memory management. I have 16 GB of RAM and when I check the file explorer and go to This PC properties, it also says 16 GB installed memory. The last time this happened was probably the worst, this time I had to repair the C Drive a couple times and I eventually got taken to the Recovery Your PC couldn't start properly A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed with the error code 0xc0000225. I managed to get some friends help, started in safe mode and did a chkdsk and then after that my PC started back to to how it normally is but I still didn't have the update. I did a little googling just before and found something saying that I should unplug and extra USB things that I don't need so I've unplugged my USB controller and my external hard drive but I don't want to try it again because I'm worried it'll do the same thing again or even worse and it's been so damn stressful because I don't have the money to fix this or buy a new computer or something. I just wanna fix this problem and update to version 1903.



Edit: I'm not very good with this kinda stuff with computers so you'll have to explain stuff very simply so I can understand what I have to do.

Update version 1903

When updating to version 1903, my computer gets stuck at 27% completed after 5 hours of updating. Can anyone tell me what is happening? Also, version 1809 showed on my list of failed installs and then it disappeared from the list. Was there a 1809?

1. Why are all of the links that you listed not completed. On my computer currently it has Windows 10 Home Version 1803, installed 6/29/2018 with O.S. Build 17134.799. It has used space of 187 GB and 257 GB of free space.

I attempted to install Version 1903 Manually, through Settings/Windows Update, Windows 10 Update Assistant, and other ways without success. I have spent the better part of the past 3 days trying to get this accomplished on my laptop. It has worked on my
PC but not on the laptop.

Listed below are the different error messages that I get after the download stops each time at 90% and converts back to previous settings:

a. Windows 10, Version 1903 error message (0x80240034)

b. We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0x800703fb)

c. We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0xC1900101 - 0x4000D)

d. Feature update to Windows 10, Version 1903, We couldn't install this update, but you can try again (0x80070652)

If there are ways to get this latest update installed on my laptop, please let me know what I have to do in detail, step by step.

To early to update to Version 1903?

Those that have upgraded to Version 1903, is MS still coming out with download updates to that version quite frequently? Or, do you suggest waiting another month or 2?

I waited 3 months to upgrade to 1809. This past May, I never saw so many updates to that version......weekly! Maybe those updates were some additions that are in 1903???
