Windows 10: Can't update win 10 build

I keep geting this error "Couldn't update to windows 10" ( I already have win 10 just assuming this a new build or something. ) "Sorry,we couldn't complete the update to windows 10. We've restored your previous version of windows to this pc."

Been happening for over a week , windows 10 at times will force a restart and try to update and it always fails. IDK if my install is just broken and need to reinstall or this update is just bad. Really considering going to back to windows 7 since this is getting on my nerves, any help would be great. I googled around a bit and saw one thread but it didn't help me much.

How do i build a wall around Win 10 update

Just got my sys back from having it reset back to Win 8.1 from the disaster of the Win 10 update! NOW Win 10 is ready to go again!! can't find it in list of programs. i want to build a wall around it so it can't do any damage til it has less bugs, or never.

so how do i build that wall??

p.s. why do you think i have Win 7? i most certainly DO NOT!!! even this site is messed up!!

 

Windows 10 upgrade and update

This might work if windows came up but it doesn't. I got the previous Build to go back but it keeps updating to win 10 and as soon as it does the first update to win 10 I get the same error when it reboots and can't get to win 10. This is the forth time
and I'm gonna stay with the crappy vista cause win 10 don't work with my toshba satilite laptop. Maybe it's time to finally get an apple laptop.

 

Ok for anyone else googling like I did or searching the forum. Just unplug everything but your monitor and let it update to the new build. It fails if it has a keyboard or mouse connected.
