Windows 10: can't update winows 10 thinkpad.

i have a thinkpad t460s. current version is windows10 pro 1909. always fails to update from 1909 to 22H2 because the graphics card intel hd graphics 520 is not working.

Thinkpad T510 is bricked after entering PIN in setup

I bought it from a reputable dealer on eBay on July 6th. No history given, except the dealer formatted theHD and tested everything. The listing says No Returns. But he may be open to an exchange. LENOVO THINKPAD T510 15.6” i5 M520 2.40ghz 4GB Ram 500gb HDD DVD RW W/ Charger | eBay
Before I press for that I'm going to try the steps you've suggested further down in this thread.

I suggest you either

• Go to Control Panel and disable and re-enable the Wacom HID device driver; or
• re-install Windows 8.1. If you haven't deleted the restore files then this should be relatively straightforward.
  

The first worked when I had the same problem on my ThinkPad 10.

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the exact model number of the ThinkPad 10 tab?
  
• What is the KB number of the update installed, prior to this issue?

Normally, when Windows update install on the device, it requires updated device drivers to support the updated operating system. In this scenario, we would suggest you to run the

Automatic Driver Update tool from the Lenovo website and once the process is completed, restart the tablet and check.
