Windows 10: Cant Upgrade from version 1909 due to error code 0xc1900130

I first tried to use the windows upgrade assistant. The pc prompts an update, shuts down and starts installing. It gets to about 50% when it reboots and I get a black screen saying "Undoing changes made to your computer". A couple of blue screens and reboots later I was able to log in and was back with version 1909. A window popped up stating the error code and something about a power state error or something similar as I did not record that part. Now, whenever I restart my PC it goes through the same procedure but without the blue screens and only one reboot. No error code is given on login,

I have tried many times yo do the 1804 feature update and get "Error code 0xc1900130". I cannot find a way to fix this. Any suggestions?

 

Version 1909 stuck without 1903 installed

Yes. Again, it is version 1809. And I just remembered that I had set to deter updates for a while, which I had just fixed, so now the 1909 update tried to install again, but brought back an error [code 0xc1900130]

 

Can't upgrade to Windows 10 1909 due to bad I2C HID driver (0xC1900101 0x30018)

When I try to upgrade my laptop from Windows 10 Pro 1809 to Windows 10 Pro 1909, the upgrade blue-screens about halfway through installation and is rolled back. The error codes indicate that the upgrade is failing due to a driver error: 0xC1900101 0x30018

I've run SetupDiag and it produces this output:

As far as I can tell that driver is a [b]default Windows driver[/b]. I don't see any way to upgrade it. How can I resolve this issue and upgrade to 1909?

Steps I have already tried, and haven't helped:

• Install latest drivers from laptop manufacturer
• Install all available updates and drivers from Windows Updates
• Install latest GPU drivers.
• sfc /scannow (no issues detected)
• DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (no issues detected)
• Uninstall I2C HID Device before upgrading
• Clear Windows Updates cache, stop and restart BITS and Updates services.
• Upgrade to 1909 through Windows Updates
• Upgrade to 1909 using Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant
• In-place upgrade using Windows 10 Pro ISO created with Windows 10 Media Creation Tool

There are no peripherals connected to my laptop. I am only using Windows Defender for anti-virus, no other AV software.
