    Can't upgrade my dell Inspiron 3541 to windows 10


    I have tried to upgrade windows 8.1 licensed to windows 10 it says error Oxc1900101-0x3001A The installation failed in the first boot phase with an error during Begin_first_boot Operation, the I tried iso upgrade still the same then I tried usb upgrade clean install still it says can't configure windows hardware then tried to edit from regedit status but can't open that then tried to enter msoobe still failed tried legacy uefi everything changed sata config to ahci to ata and secured boot disabled enabled both

    Dell Inspiron 570 and Windows 10 Upgrade


    Has anyone any experience of upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 570? I've visited the Dell site and it is not on the list of Dell computers that have been tested; in fact it specifically says that it will not be tested. The only advice given is a recommendation not to upgrade to Win 10, which may well be true but is not exactly much help in making a decision on whether to proceed or not!

    suggestions for updating Dell Inspiron 580S from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

    I'm trying to update a Dell Inspiron 580S desktop computer from Windows 7 (SP1 with latest updates) to Windows 10. I downloaded the Media Creation Tool; it ran ok until partway through installing Windows 10 when it stopped with the message "This PC can't
    be upgraded to Windows 10... No action is needed." Following the suggestions in a July 9 2019 post to this forum (this PC can't be upgraded to windows 10) I tracked down
    Dell's list of computers compatible with current versions of Win10. The Inspiron 580S isn't on the list.

    Any suggestions of how I might proceed from here (other than "buy a new computer")?

    Dell Inspiron 7537 Laptop & Creator's Upgrade

    My Dell Inspiron 15 7537 laptop hasn't been offered the update to the Creator's Update via Windows Update yet and it doesn't appear on Dell's upgrade list. Has anyone updated their Inspiron 7537 to the Creator's Update via the Media Creation Tool or ISO file and did you have any problems?
