Windows 10: Cant upgrade my desktop but can upgrade my laptop

My laptop is windows 10/with 4 gig mem not upgradable. The upgrade says I can go to windows 11 for free if I chose. My desktop just upgraded to 32 gig mem, with two trig hardrives. The desktop says I cant upgrade to windows 11 cause of hardware issues. Has a I5 processor and that is what I think it wont let me upgrade my desktop with 32gig mem. But the laptop with 4 gig mem and a 120gig harddrive m2, it says I can upgrade to windows 11. I dont get it. Maybe you can find why it does not want me to upgrade my desktop, and will let me upgrade my laptop, which cannot upgrade my memory. past 4gi

Need a upgrade for my desktop

Hello guys i need some help to upgrade my desktop
my desktops specs are

CPU:Intel core quad q6600 2.4
GPU: Gtx 260 (which is dead now)
Ram:4GB
PSU: 700 OCZ

im not planning to buy new pc yet because i need some money on summer to go on holidays
so i need some few upgrades anny suggestions what is the best thing to upgrade so i can play games

 

Newly upgraded Desktop verses my laptop

Hi friends as some of you may know with your help , I just recently upgraded my desktop with a bunch of what I thought was great parts (over $1000.00) to make my editing life more enjoyable, well I'm shocked to find out after testing both the same editing projects on both my laptop and newly upgraded desktop ,my laptop rendered the project faster than my big desktop, I'm just wondering why. I was expecting my desktop to render the project twice as fast!
Here are the specs on my laptop and desktop computers, can anyone explain to me why my laptop was faster. I used VideoStudio ProX7 on both test.

Upgrade Laptop Memory

In my opinion, you should just upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit. This essentially means he can opt to upgrade his laptop memory. The ASUS K42JK-VX026 can handle upto a max of 8GB DDR3 RAM. I would suggest you to opt for 2 x 4GB DDR3 1066MHZ SODIMM notebook memory, which is the most suitable according to me. Correct me, if I am wrong guys...
