Windows 10: Can't use a bootable flash drive after a blue screen

Sooo...I was installing drivers for my PC and used it for a while and then turned it off. After powering it on it displayed a BSOD with the error code SYSTEM_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED or something like that. So I turned it off and after turning on it displayed something like the attached photo. if the photo won't work, it was something like: Windows failed to load. A recent hardware or software change might be the problem. To fix it: 1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer. 2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next". 3. Click "Repair your computer". But wh

Ipod bootable drive?

I want to know if I can make my ipod a usb bootable drive.. will it mess up my ipod? I need to flash my video card back to normal.. Neros bootable cd gave me an error. I used a step by step guide, but thats another story.

 

third sata drive not bootable ?

Exactly. On the where do you want to install Windows screen, it has the list of all 3 drives, but when I choose the new drive is when it says it cannot install because the drive is not a bootable drive. If I select one of the other drives with XP installed it doesn't give that message.

 

USB Flash drive made bootable

Hi Nelson,

Check if there is any slide switch on the side that provides write protection. It show's a closed and open lock on each side. We suggest to follow these steps below:

• Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port.
• Click Start, type devmgmt.msc in the Search textbox and press Enter.
• Find Disk Drives and expand it.
• Find the USB flash drive you want to format, and double-click it. It opens the
  Properties dialog box.
• Click Policies tab.
• By default, the Optimize for quick removal option selected, switch it to Optimize for performance and then press
  OK.
• Now open Computer. Right click on the USB Flash Drive and select Format. The Format dialog box now appears.
• Select NTFS in the File System field.
• Press Start and wait while the process will be completed.

You can also connect the USB drive on a different computer and try formatting.
