Windows 10: Can't use App Key Bindings for Function keys f1-f12 on New Laptop

So, I recently got a new laptop for my streamer setup. Everything works fine aside from one issue I have never encountered before but cannot seem to be able to fix now that I have encountered it. No matter what app I use, if it has keybinds that involve a function key doing something other than the hardcoded function in windows 11, it will ALWAYS resort to the hardcoded. This means I am unable to perform various app functions I use on a regular basis. For example, hitting f12 in an attempt to take a screenshot on a steam game will instead open calculator. Let the funtion keys work as function keys (F1~F12)

I am not sure for asking here becasue it is question for using Keyboard. But I believe that this is the best section.

- Accessory : Microsoft Comfort Keyboard 5050

- Problem : F-Lock key is released automatically several times in day, without an exact cycle.

- Question : How to lock the Function keys work as standard always, such as F1 is help, F10 is Menu?

- Description :

I am using Microsoft Comfort Keyboard 5050.

In this keybooard, for the user's convenience, new functions can be assigned to F1 to F12 rather than standard functions.

When shipped from the factory, F4 is given a new window, and F10 is given spelling check.

For switching between the standard function and newly assigned functions of F1 to 12, there is "F-Lock key" .

If the F-Lock key is set, F1~F12 work as standard, such as F1 is help.

However, even though I have set F-Lock because I wanted to use it as a standard feature on F1-12,

this F-Lock is unlocked automatically and returns to the assined function.

So, I want to lock this F-Lock key is always locked to use F1~12 as standard function.

When Windows starts, F-Lock is turned off by default.

- Tried

1. I have installed "Microsoft Keyboard-Mouse center" already.

But this application does not allow let the F-Key is always locked.

2. In that application, I chose to remove the function assigned to F1 to F12, that is, to disable it.

At that time, if the F-Lock is relaesed/unlocked, F1~F12 does not work. Perfectly No Response.

(For example, though I press Alt+F4, the window is not closed.)

3. Bing AI chat suggested "Microsoft IntelliType Pro 8.0 Keyboard Software 64bit" to set the keyboard.

But it is not able to download anymore from the Microsoft hompage.

(The last update was 2010.Aug, 3 years)

Somebody would tell me that "You may give the stnadard functions of F1~F12 through the Microsoft Keyboard-Mouse center application"

But in the applications, the F1~F12 does not assingned samely. There are differences between applications.

thanks for your response... but it is the 2nd function on my f1-f12 keys that is not working...
