Windows 10: Can't use delete button

Discus and support Can't use delete button in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I've got updated Windows 10 on latest update, but I encountered with cannot use delete button to delete files, but CTRL + ALT + DEL is fine to use...     Can't use delete button


    I've got updated Windows 10 on latest update, but I encountered with cannot use delete button to delete files, but CTRL + ALT + DEL is fine to use security options (before begin updates is fine), Is it block to use delete button to accidentally delete files ?, what do I do now?

    First of all nice utility, Mindweaver!
    Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

    I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...
    • maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
    • Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
    • maybe you also add export list to excel?
    • there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
    • and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?

    Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


    Suggestion:
    1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
      x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
    2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
    3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
    4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
      NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.
