Windows 10: Can't use mousetouchpad on my laptop until doing a weird temporary fix

Hello there!

The problem is with my mouse and my touchpad on my ASUS TUF-GAMING FX505DT Laptop.

Problem: Whenever I connect my usb mouse to my laptop, it lights up and moves but I can't click on anything, left and right click both aren't working, the same "clicks not registering" problem is with my touchpad aswell not only my mouse.

Temporary/weird fix: I can only fix it by opening Task Manager and starting to move the window around multiple times after which, it starts working (The same thing with my touchpad).After I shutdown my laptop and keep the mouse connected, I start it up again and it does the same thing. The problem stays, doesn't matter what I do.

Already tried: Deinstalling and reinstalling drivers; Updating drivers; Different usb port; Different mouse.

I hope to get advice from Reddit, I've tried other forums with no success.

Hello I went to try to follow the instructions here to fix the temp profile issue I am having with Windows ten after upgrading from 7 a few months ago and I got to the step of the registry ....I don't see the user profile lists as in your pictures I see the below items in my pictures which look completely different then yours. I don't want to miss anything up as I have both of my baby's last three years of pictures on the laptop that I need to get to. Please help!
