    Can't use PhoneLink because of Error


    I have a Windows 10 machine and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. I had previously connected to the two together with PhoneLink.However, now, when I try to set up PhoneLink on my PC, I can not get beyond the "Account does not exist" error message image attached.The account exists, I use it many times daily.I have tried reboots. Log in and lot out of my office365 account. Restart of the Samsung device.What is happening?The specific text below:Sign inThat Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one. No account? Create one!

    PhoneLink for iPhone

    WHEN will PhoneLink work with iPhones??!!

    I use the app daily with my Android, which is getting a bit long in the tooth. (It's a Galaxy Note 9.)

    I would REALLY like to switch to a 14 Pro, but not without PhoneLink.

    PhoneLink not working because of IPV6 bug.

    Is Microsoft aware of the IPV6 bug that is causing countless people to have problems with Phonelink?

    If I turn on IPV6 in my router, Phonelink fails to connect. A phone can't even be paired with it. Turn IPV6 back off and all works as designed.

    Here is what I think is happening. My ISP is AT&T and they use a 6RD tunnel with a border router to provide IPV6 capability. PhoneLink simply will not communicate through that tunnel. This is a bug that Microsoft needs to address and I think it is causing a lot of headaches for users who don't even realize what is happening. I discovered it by accident after turning on IPV6 to do some experimenting. I normally leave it off on my router.

    MICROSOFT, PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE!

    If you found this page because PhoneLink stopped working for you, or you could never get it to pair, check your router setup. Try turning IPV6 off and see if that doesn't fix it for you.
