    Can't use search bar or access windows settings after update KB5011487


    Hi, I can't type into the search bar or access Windows settings after update KB5011487. If I try to access windows settings it starts up for a second, flashes a few times and then shuts down. I've tried restarting windows search in services.msc. No luck there.I've tried running Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml"} in Powershell and I get the following error messageAdd-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073D02, Exception from HRESULT:

    To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

    Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
    in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
    then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.

    When i try to access the settings menu or use the search bar, i am unable to access either of them. Any suggestions?
