Windows 10: Can't view or reset local account password -> can't sync with One Drive

Hello!I am trying to use One Drive for back up and while trying to sync, it is required of me to sign in to my Microsoft account and also enter my local account's password.It seems I've forgotten the local account's password and can't find a way around it. When I try to change my local account password, it requires me to re-enter said password. When I get it wrong, there is no option for me to reset or answer security questions. I do have my PIN and face recognition enabled.Any password recovery inquiry that I've made reverts to the Microsoft account and not the local account. Has been a coupl

Local Account password changed to Online Account Password

Hi,

I suggest you to follow the steps on how to switch from Microsoft account to Local account:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Local account instead.
• Enter your Microsoft account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the Local account and click OK.
• Now, login to Local account.
