    Restore Default File Type Associations in Windows 10

    Not sure why the suggested that there either since .zip is not listed by default. The easiest way is to use the "Open with" context menu to change the association for .zip.

    Magnet

    Hello Folkhedd, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that the magnetic links are not being opened by Torrent;

    Initially I recommend that you check if you are on the latest version of Windowos 10;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Update and Security;

    Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

    When the message "You are up to date" is displayed go to the next step below;

    Refresh the browser;

    Edge;

    Open Edge and click (...) in the upper right corner of the screen to access Settings;

    Click About Microsoft Edge in the left menu;

    If there is any update, it will be done automatically;

    Close the browser and open it again;

    The upgrade process for other browsers is largely the same;

    Uninstall Torrent and install it again;

    To uninstall Torrent do the following;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Applications;

    Select Torrent from the list and click Uninstall;

    Go to the Torrent website and download again;

    Check if the magnetic links now work again;

    Hope it works, see you soon!

    Magnet URl does not showing uTorrent pn Windows 10

    Hello Jahirul,

    We recommend performing the steps below to force Utorrent to be the default app when opening magnet URI. Refer to the steps below:

    1. Launch Utorrent, click on the gear icon to open the settings.

    2. Go to General. Under Windows Integration, click on
    Associate with torrent files button.

    3. Make sure to check the box for Check in association on startup.

    Update us on the outcome.

    Regards.
