Windows 10: Capability of Windows Metered Connection Feature

HiIf I enable windows 10 metered connection on my Ethernet connection, can I be sure that it will record all the data consumption that passes through my Ethernet port?Is there any limitation on its capability to meter data traffic?Will it be able to meter data consumption on all tcp, udp and Icmp ports?We recently had a case where one of our pc connected with metered connection ON with a 4g router recorded only 1gb of data transfer on its Ethernet port but the sim data consumption came to be very high I.e. around 200gb. See whether the following works for you:

• A metered connection is an Internet connection that has a data limit associated with it. Cellular data connections are set as metered by default. Wi-Fi network connections can be set to metered, but aren't by default. Some apps and features in Windows will
  behave differently on a metered connection to help reduce your data usage.
• To set a Wi-Fi network connection as metered:
  • Select Start > Settings > Network & Internet.
  • Select Wi-Fi > Advanced options > Set as metered connection.

Since you're using a SIM to be able to use the internet, Windows 10 automatically set your connection as metered if your Internet service provider limits the data you can use.

You can turn the Set as metered connection option to OFF by following these steps:

• Click the Internet access icon from the Taskbar.
  
• Click the network where you are connected, then click Properties.
  
• Locate and toggle the Set as metered connection to OFF.
