Windows 10: "Capped" download speed on wireless connection on the computer

Hello, guys!So I work with my computer and I need high download and upload speeds.I moved from my previous house to this new apartment with my fiancee and there is no way to put my gaming/working computer on our bedroom where the internet cable is at. I can pass the ethernet cable from the router in the bedroom to the living room where my computer is but it just gets too ugly. So I'm just connecting on the internet wireless.The thing is, I'm connecting to the same network both on computer and on the cellphone. On the cellphone, I get a download speed of 450-500mbps. Upload speed is around 50

What could be the problem when internet download speed is capped (approx 10%) of available bandwidth when connecting to some 802.11ac wireless APs while other APs provide up to 100% of bandwidth (using speedtest.net). Other devices eg. iphone/laptops will
download at full available bandwidth.

I'm using a windows 10 home laptop with i5-8250 Intel CPU and Intel AC7265 wireless chipset - drivers updated to latest.

i also tried a USB wireless dongle and have same problem but when using USB wired dongle, i get full available bandwidth.

You are seeing the slow speeds on the Tenda, because it is outdated single band hardware. The Tenda is also a Router not a Access Point. You really need a good A/P, not a bunch of routers of various ages, set up for Wireless.

Hello as the title says my internet download speed is very slow its capped to 4.5Mbps where as it should be around 10-15 Mbps my laptop is dell Inspiron 7559 and wireless adapter is Intel Dual band wireless AC 3165, cant pinpoint as to when this problem
started I noticed it suddenly while downloading update for a game on steam. ran speed tests and found out its capped to 4.5Mbps, thing is I did the same test on ubuntu with speedtest.net it gave the speed it should which is around 15Mbps. Its also fine on
mobile but its limited on windows for some reason. I reinstalled its drivers tried using ipconfig /flushdns with no luck at all did a full computer scan with windows defender and no malware or virus found. Anyone got a suggestion?
