Windows 10: Caps lock blinking, laptop doesn't turn on

My laptop HP won't start and the caps lock is blinking. I heard it is internal drive problem and the best way is to take it to the service but I was wondering if there's any way I can fix this myself? Thanks

Blinking caps lock

I have a Omen Windows 10 gaming laptop and for some reason (randomly) when I try to turn it on I get no display and a blinking caps lock. The keys flash red for like a second and then they go dark. Some help would be great!

For us to isolate the issue about being unable to turn off Caps lock, kindly respond to the questions below:

• If you press the Caps Lock button on your keyboard, does it turn off the Caps Lock?
• You mentioned that you are using Word, may we know if the issue is within Word only or the issue persists in using another typing application (i.e. Notepad)?

This is likely to be one of those where, as I don't know what you've already tried, I'll have spent time suggesting what you have tried. That's why I asked for a clear list of what you have tried. Do you see this when you toggle caps lock?
