    Caps lock on-screen notification won't go away; how do i fix this?


    The way this happened was strange. I restarted my computer, and starting from that point on, an on-screen notification for when i turn caps lock on appeared. It gets in the way, but every tutorial I've followed gave me a dead end. I have an HP laptop, if that helps at all. I've tried going into Display adapter properties, but there wasnt a screen configuration tab. Please help!

    My caps lock won t turn off

    I'm typing a letter in word, it was fine then started using all caps it won t turn them the usual way

    Caps lock notification on screen

    Whenever I press any of the lock buttons (caps, number... etc) a notification appears on screen, this has suddenly started to happen and I have followed all the steps to turn this off (via display or keyboard settings)

    How can I turn this off??

    For us to isolate the issue about being unable to turn off Caps lock, kindly respond to the questions below:

    • If you press the Caps Lock button on your keyboard, does it turn off the Caps Lock?
    • You mentioned that you are using Word, may we know if the issue is within Word only or the issue persists in using another typing application (i.e. Notepad)?
