Windows 10: Capslock

Whenever i hold capslock it turn on and off, is there a way to turn it off? i want to whenever i hold capslock it stay on or off

When typing in Word or Excel my computer is turning on Capslock by itself.It doesn't show on the keyboard and you can't turn it off so can't use the numerals . Have to wait till it decides itself >

any SUGGESTIONS?

Caps Lock icon displaying on the screen can be turned on and off. To know how to remove the icon on the screen, follow the steps below:

• On the Search bar, type Control Panel and then hit Enter.
  
• Click on Display icon, then click on Change display settings on left panel.
• Click on the Advanced settings, then click on On-Screen Display or
  Screen configurations tab. Important Note: If your system doesn't have
  On-Screen Display or Screen configurations tab, you need to install
  Hotkey driver.
• In Properties window, make sure Enable on-screen display is checked. Under
  Indicator settings for NumLock and CapsLock section, look for
  While the numeric lock or caps lock is ON section, choose the Show the indicator for a few seconds option.
• Click Apply, then click OK.

Capslock does not toggle, unless I press Shift + Capslock or Alt + Capslock

Hello, I have this really frustrating issue where Capslock does not toggle unless I press the combination of shift + capslock or Alt + Capslock, or Win + Capslock.

What is really strange is when I use the onscreen keyboard there is no issue. Also what is weird is that when I change from Chrome to Word. It does change. I.e.

Capslock ON in Word, it does not work

If I change to a Chrome window, it does work, but I cannot turn it off

If I change back to the Word program, it turns off

Please can someone help me, this issue is very frustrating.
