Windows 10: Captcha doesn't accept the letters I enter. I NEED AN EXPERT TO HELP

I posted this question a few days ago and didn't get any help. I need an expert to explain to how Captcha works.^ Does upper case lower case matter?^ Does one need to click New to request another challenge? I've tried both ways. ^ The voice mode seems to hesitate between words. Is one supposed to echo the challenge word? Or wait until the whole challenge is done?

I marked as Answer My question Chrome forces me to log in with my gmail username. It deals with an issue whereby I'm logged in to answers.Microsoft with a username that isn't mine. Specifically, my username was , but answers.Microsoft signed me in as Phillip. In order to get to the root cause of the issue, I need to execute the initial steps of that question. Those require me to verify my identity with Captcha, and I've tried several times, but Captcha doesn't accept what I enter. Here's my latest attempt:





Perhaps I don't understand how Captcha work at answers.Microsoft. To me these Captcha characters all look all the same case. Either all Upper or all Lower. But does it matter which? I mean does case make a difference. To me, the YMKXY I entered match.

I did try the voice. It was even more difficult for me.

The username at the left shows , but the login name at the upper right is Phillip. In fact that issue is the reason that I need to learn how to do the Captcha. If you hover over the avatar at the top of the screen, it shows Phillip. But on the far left it shows SW and .

The title of that other question is "Chrome forces me to log in with my gmail username". The bottom line is that when I login here, it shows me as Phillip, not my true username, . After taking the steps there it will show my true username. But I want to learn what is causing the error so that I don't have to come here and repeat those steps every time I log in.
