    CAPTIONS OF SEPARATE WINDOWS

CAPTION FONTS of separate windows are too faint to easily see unless viewing the selected window. e.g. DISCOVERY is legible but not MR PRICE

Old Windows 7 allowed font and bold unbold choice in captions. Can you tell me/ show me how to get all windows captions legible or bold? I have tried every setting I can find.

    :)

    CAPTIONS OF SEPARATE WINDOWS

    Hi Vic61.8

Thanks you for posting this to the community. However, we'll need more additional info in order to fully understand what is happening, and what is the activity being accomplished. Is the query related to any program running in Windows 10 to generate a caption?
And regarding the caption, on where do you want to see this? Can you post a screenshot of the activity being done on your next reply? Here the guide on how you can do it: How
to include a screenshot in your post
    .

Feel free to keep us posted.

No closed captioning in Windows 10 Media Player wtv files

    Hi Dough,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I see that you are not able to find closed captions in Windows 10.

Please follow the steps and check if it helps.

    1. Go to Settings by typing settings in the Search menu.

    2. Select Ease of Access as subcategory.

    3. There you will find Closed Caption .Click on the Closed Caption
and on the right side you will see a list of settings each configurable via a separate drop down menu.

    4. The settings are divided into subsections namely Font and Background
and Window. Here changes made affect the captions as well as background where they are displayed in player.

Also try the following steps and check if it works for you.

    • You may try the steps to turn on subtitling in a video application.

    • Open the Video app.( Movies & TV app and VLC)

    • Right-click on the video you want to play.

    • Select Playback options

    • If closed caption is not available, you will see Not available.
