    Using Windows 10 ADK v1511, how do I capture an image directly by saving it in an esd file?

    Also, how do I add an image volume, to an esd file?

    Living Image file format

    Hi!

    I know that W10 Living Image includes a zip file containing video clip just before captured jpeg image + thumbnail picture and xml file.

    The problem is - how to create a Living Image from captured image, video clip and thumbnail image taken with WP8.1 Lumia Camera?

    I tried to replace living.jpg and living.mpeg with my files in directory structure of working W10 living image, zip it and append to high-res capture. No animation.

    Is there some trick to do with zip file, compression settings, file name or additional headers etc that I'm missing?

    How can one convert an install.esd file to a install.wim file?

    I want to modify a base Windows image and then apply that image to hard drives. Can one mount a .esd image using DISM, inject drivers and add packages, unmount the image, then use Win PE and DISM to apply that modified image to a drive? Can DISM operate
    on .esd files just like on .wim files? If not, then I need a utility to convert a install.esd file to a install.wim file.
