Windows 10: Card Reader Does Not Work in Windows 10

I have tried all methods and all card readers donot work and appear offline as shown. It shows some kind of conflict in disk management. I confirm all cards (inc. SD and CF) with the same card readers work with other win10 laptop. Please help. thank you!

Realtek Card Reader not working since Windows 10 upgrade

• Does Device Manager recognizes Realtek card reader?
• Do you get any error message?

Follow the steps below and check.

Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

Insignia Card Reader not working

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if that resolves the issue.

Method 1: Run the Hardware troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

a. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under
Settings.

b. Now type Hardware Troubleshooter in the search option.

c. Click on Hardware troubleshooter to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Update the Card Reader Driver:

Follow these steps to update the driver.

a) Press Windows key + X key and click on Device manager.

b) Search for the Card Reader Driver and expand it.

c) Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.

Go to Device Manger and check if the SD card shows up. Steps to go to Device manager.

  Search for USB Port and expand it.

  Check if it’s visible there.
