Windows 10: Casting Android Screen to Windows 10

<p>Dear Microsoft-Community,</p><p></p><p>I have a problem connecting my Moto G4 Plus Android 8.1.0 to my Windows 10 up-to-date, BT and network adapter drivers as well machine via the cast app.<br /><br />I have changed the "Projecting to this PC settings" according to online instructions. Both devices are in the same wireless network. I also tried some other solutions i found online mainly this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4/help/cast-screen-t3402188. No success however.</p><p></p><p>Is there something obvious I'm missing or some easy fix?</p>

Hi,

I am new to Windows 10 and am still exploring its features.

I played a video and found out a new option to cast my laptop's screen. However trying that option didn't help me, I just want to correct my basics here before I get into it. Here are my questions.

• Will I be able to cast my laptop screen to mobile phones? This includes Android, iOS & Windows devices.
• I was searching on the net for a How To document for the cast option and didn't find much information. Can someone provide detailed steps of how to use this feature.
• Does this feature uses bluetooth or just that the devices which we use to cast should be connected to internet or on to the same network?
