  1. Casting content to multible monitors

My church has a problem with sending app to monitors. She does not want the file explorer to be visible on the monitors, as she looks up songs. She wants the songs to be visible on the monitors not the explorer. Have tried extend and duplicate display, one of the monitors windows does not detect. Church has windows 10 and all updates are current, have also tried a third party app with no luck. Is there a work around to solve the problem before our move to a new building she was able to hide the explorer.

    :)

    windows 10 cast to device

    Hi Steven,

    • Do you get any error message when you try to cast the device?
    • Does the issue happen when you don't use cast to device, I mean when you are online?
    • Which device do you use to cast the content?
If the issue happens only when you cast the device, the issue can be that of the casting device. In that case I would request you to execute the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

    • Press Windows key +X, select
      Control panel.

    • Change the view by option on the top right to
      Large icons.

    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the
view all option on the left panel.

    • Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

    • Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Hope this information is helpful. Thank you.

    Casting content to multible monitors

Windows Media Player 12 Not Casting

Hello. I have the same problem as the original poster. I am able to cast individual songs to Marantz receiver, but I cannot cast playlists.

Here are some additional details. I have Windows 10 and WMP12.

To cast a song in WMP12 I do the following:

    1. right click song

    2. select "Cast to Device"

    3. select Marantz receiver (I have other device which also appear on list of options to cast to)

When I right click a playlist, and select "Cast to Device", the only option that comes up is "Cast to Device". In other words, "cast to device" appears a second time, none of my devices appear as in step 3 above when only trying to cast an individual song.

I also, after applying the suggest resolutions noted in the posts above, I tried creating a new test playlist, but I couldn't cast that playlist either.

Are there any additional steps I can take to resolve this?

    Thank you.
