Windows 10: Cat walked on my laptop, now my Monitor/Second Screen has a white haze. How do I fix it? I...

I have tried display settings and whatnot, seems like some sort of shortcut was keyed and needs to be reversed. When I take screenshots, the screenshots don't show the white haze. This is a work computer so I'm not able to go into administration settings as well as I don't think it's needed; it seems like some sort of keyed short-cut.

white spots/haze/blob on touch-capable screen

A white blob/haze/spots is present on my convertible's screen (Samsung ATIV 700T Smart PC Pro). It appears more prominently if the screen is displaying white and they are present only near the screen's edges. (refer to pic).




Based on my research, those are caused by pressure applied to the screen. I'm the second owner of this device so I have no track record on how it was handled before I acquired it. It's just a little dubious that the screen would end up like that because it's designed for touch input.

Pls. share your thoughts and advice on how to fix it.

 

cat walked on keyboard and screen orientation is sideways.

my cat walked on my computer and the screen portrait on its side. I have a switch screen function key on my laptop to send the feed to my monitor but to get the right orientation, I have to have both screens live. Don't tell me to put the monitor on it's
side. Serious request for help
