Toshiba Satellite DVD disappeared

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that I recently noticed had the DVD?CDRW disappear after letting it upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7.

The laptop has an AMD processor. have tried all the suggestions of doing register edit tweaks to recover the DVD/CD, but none worked.

So now after having Windows 10 on the laptop for more than a year, is there a positive way to recover the DVD/CD? Or can I still go back to Windows 7

 

CD/DVD drive on Toshiba Satellite does not work after installing Windows 10

Since installing W10 on my Toshiba Satellite (C855D), the CD/DVD drive does not work. To date, I haven't found a solution for my problem anywhere on-line. Wondering if anyone here has a solution. Thanks!

 

Toshiba Satellite L650 11C sound issues

We would need the actual product number, or better yet, the serial number. The Toshiba Satellite L650 may have a product number like this: PSK1JA-0ED017. Without it, or the Serial number, we have no idea which sound card you have to be able to look up the driver or compatibility.
