Windows 10: CD-R The parameter is incorrect.

I have a user trying to burn files onto a CD-R. She gets the H:\ is not accessible. States location is not available. The parameter is incorrect.I have tried fixing permissions and when using my administrator profile, I am able to access and burn to it.Ideas?

• Plug in external hard drive, USB drive or memory card to the computer.

• In the Command Prompt window, type chkdsk E: /f /r. You should replace E with the drive letter of your external hard drive or external device.
• Restart your PC once the process is done.

No this did not resolve my issue.

I have a SanDisk SSD 894.25 Gb, 786.96 gb free with Trims enabled. ran as admin chkdsk c: /f /r with no error found no change in the problem

Try the following method:

1. Plugin your device(it can be your External Hard Drive, USB etc) to your PC.
2. Open the Command Prompt. You can press Windows Key + X command and select Command Prompt.
3. Now, type chkdsk E: /f /r. Here, ‘E’ can be replace with the Drive Letter of your external device connected.
   
4. The above steps will run CHKDSK to check and repair File System Corruption, errors, corruptions or bad sectors on your device which might be causing such error – ‘Drive Is Not Accessible. The Parameter Is Incorrect'.
