Windows 10: CD won't see blank disk

Discus and support CD won't see blank disk in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have HP WIN10 PRO software. I am trying to write to a blank CD.     CD won't see blank disk


    I have HP WIN10 PRO software. I am trying to write to a blank CD. The CD says "insert a blank disc" but it doesn't see it.

    I have verified and tried updating the driver. After reboot nothing changed and PC reports it is already latest driver.

    Also verified ShellHardwareDetection in Services is set to Automatic.

    I have seen previous posts with same problem but no resolution. Any ideas are appreciated.

    windows 10 burning music from the hard drive to a cd

    I have windows 10. I can not burn a cd from the music stored on my hard drive. I got to the windows media player, click the burn to a cd drag the song list and insert a blank cd and it won,t start the burn. I have checked everything in my desk top. Can

    CD won't see blank disk

    My CD ROM can´t read any CDs or DVDs

    I wanted to use my CD ROM after a long time, and then after many attempts with other CDs/DVDs, all I can say is that my CD ROM won´t read anything.

    I tried solutions online, like using regedit and search for UpperFilters and LowerFilters, but I don´t have them, but it still won´t read anything. I have Windows 7 Home Premium, can anyone help me?
