Windows 10: CDC ECM driver

I am trying to install Verifone drive for P200. The driver installs successfully on com 9. However, I cannot see the com. Instead, I see in other devices, and it has a yellow warning tringle. when I open it, it shows there is no CDC ECM driver code error 28. Where can I get that driver installed on windows 10? How can I fix the issue?Hope to hear as soon as possible. Best,MO

LTE USB stick detected as CDC ECM on startup

My LTE USB stick does not automatically connect to the internet on startup. I see the following issue in the device manager with a device called CDC ECM:







If I re-plug my device it connects to the internet and the CDC ECM device disappears but I would like for it to connect automatically without me having to re-plug it every time I reboot my computer.



Is there a workaround for this issue?

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

To rule out a driver problem that may cause that USB WiFi adapter not being loaded on startup, go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the version of Chipset drivers they recommend and while there, check for any BIOS update that may need to be installed

If that does not solve the problem, Windows does not support the CDC ECM interface in USB settings. Windows uses RNDIS, what is the Make and exact Model No. of your USB WiFi adapter?
