    CEF binaries missing


    Hello.I was looking for a solution to whatever problem and found an article in which I learned to do a CEF Scan - big mistake!Now, every time I start my PC, I get big error with "CEF binary missing" with a long list of files.My computer is working fine. The question:HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS IDIOTIC ERROR that I see every time I turn my computer on?Thank you.PS Something tells me that I will end up reinstalling everything from scratch or just embrace that error for good.

    To address your concern about the CEF error, we suggest that you uninstall the Softonic app if you have it installed, then restart your computer.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    CEF binaries missing

    CEF Initialization Error

    I installed CHROME 64 bit. Unbeknownst to me it came along with PC Mechanic. That was OK but I was not happy with Chrome so I did a normal uninstall. But PC Mechanic would not uninstall. I tried the normal uninstall. Now I get a CEF Initialization Error.
